SeaWorld Christmas Celebration

While we primarily cover the Disney Parks here on Disney Tips, sometimes we like to share information on other Parks and attractions in Central Florida. With the holiday season here, there are plenty of places to celebrate in the area. One of our favorite traditions is SeaWorld Christmas Celebration. There is holiday cheer around every corner.

This season, SeaWorld Christmas Celebration will take place on select nights from November 12 until January 2. That includes commemorating Hanukkah November 28 through December 6 and Kwanzaa December 26 through January 1.

A lot takes place During SeaWorld Christmas Celebration. New this year will be the Sounds of the Season Performance Series. Winter Wonderland on Ice returns, as does Elmo’s Christmas Wish. There is public ice skating and also “snow” flurries. There are holiday foods and merchandise, and of course decorations everywhere. There are over three million lights.

One of our favorite parts of SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is the Sea of Trees. There are hundreds of decorated trees in the water of SeaWorld’s Lagoon. Several times throughout the evening, they will “dance” to the music. Watch from the walking bridge across the lagoon and you’ll be surrounded. The reflection off of the water is dazzling.

Characters are an important part of SeaWorld Christmas Celebration. You can meet Rudolph! Santa greets guests as well. Sesame Street Christmas Parade is returning this year, allowing Guests to see some of their favorite Sesame Street characters.

The best way to end a Theme Park day is with fireworks, and SeaWorld has you covered there as well. Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountains Finale will light up the sky on nights when SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is held. It’s a beautiful show.

Unlike Disney Very Merriest After Hours, SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is included with your theme park admission. Park reservations are not required. If you’re looking for a deal, purchase your tickets online instead of at the Park. There are often deals that aren’t available at the gate.
