A Walt Disney World Resort bus was involved in an accident late Friday evening, August 5, 2022, involving an SUV on Disney property near the Transportation and Ticket Center Intersection.
According to reports, on August 5, an accident occurred between a Walt Disney World bus and a tourist driving an SUV late Friday evening. The incident occurred near the Transportation and Ticket Center, also known as the Magic Kingdom parking lot.

The rare accident reached the news with the report stating that there were no significant injuries, although it is believed the Disney bus driver was taken to the hospital after the large front windshield shattered. The bus was emptied of Guests.
@TheParkPlace1 took to social media on the evening of Friday, August 5, 2022, noting, “Breaking: Disney World Bus Accident Involving an SUV Even at Walt Disney World, sometimes things go very wrong. In the case of transportation today, a bus driver and a tourist in an SUV collided.”

Another tweet explains that the Disney bus crash involved a Goofy bus with a busted windshield and caution tape around the incident:
According to comments on the report, one person noted, “This was a horrible accident we witnessed this and my son and husband, helped rescue the people that were trapped inside.” Disney has yet to release a statement about the accident.
Walt Disney World Resort transportation is a massive undertaking with buses, boats, Monorails, Skyliners, and more. While we like to think of the Disney bubble being a perfectly safe space, there are incidents such as this bus accident that occur from time to time.
