Did you know Walt Disney World regularly celebrates animal births? That’s right! Disney’s Conservation Program works to allow breeding for endangered animals such as the white rhino and has had much success. From baby rhinos, horses, gorillas, zebras, elephants, and more… we love to hear about the successful Disney baby stories!
When riding Safari ride, Cast Members have no control over what Guests may or may not see while on the attraction. Sometimes animals are extremely active, while other times (especially in the heat of the day), it can be difficult to spot animals as they seek shade. Our top Disney Tip – experience Kilimanjaro Safaris early in the morning or late in the evening for the best time to find active animals at the theme park.
