If you’re planning on being in California and staying at a Disneyland Resort, there is a new way that you can stay fit while you’re on your vacation. Disneyland has announced new fitness classes available to Disney Resort Guests only.

Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is offering new group fitness activities so Guests can stay in shape. There are so many delicious restaurants and food options at Disneyland, so this is an opportunity to keep up with your workout or stay in your yoga routine while you’re on vacation.

Some of these are in Disney California Adventure Park Before the Park opens. What an incredible background to have a yoga session to. This is a one of a kind opportunity, and where else can you have such a cool experience.

These classes focus on relaxation, meditation, stretching and even boot camp. You can also find yourself on a paddleboard at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spas fountain pool.

Shinobu Tygi, who is Tanya Stone Spa’s lead fitness instructor, shares more about this program in a video.

These classes are 30 to 45 minutes each, and there are various skill levels. Here is the official description that Disney Parks Blog shares about the different courses:

Aqua Yoga: Practice yoga on a paddleboard while floating in the Fountain Pool. We recommend you be comfortable in the water, because chances are, you might get wet!

These classes are an extra fee, so keep that in mind. Remember you MUST be staying at a Disneyland Resort to be a part of this. You also are required to make a reservation, and it can be made online, by phone, or by visiting the spa directly.

If you don’t want these classes, three complimentary Resort fitness centers are located at Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Standard workout equipment is available like recumbent and regular bicycles, ellipticals, treadmills, stair climbers, different weights machines, and free weights.

After a workout, if you’re looking for a great way to relax, Tenaya Stone Spa is perfect for that. What better way to relax than getting a massage. Even if you haven’t done an official workout, if you’ve been walking around the Parks all day that is a workout in itself and you deserve to treat yourself.
