Award-Winning Chef Opening Restaurant in Disney Springs

Disney foodies, this is not a drill! To be a Disney fan is also to be a foodie. Walt Disney World has many delicious treats, making them much more special. All four Parks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s BoardWalk, and Disney Springs, are unique in their own foodways.

Disney Springs is known for its eclectic array of dining options. With inspiration from all different cuisines, Disney Springs offers everything from a cheeseburger to a lobster dinner. Excitingly, Disney Springs is welcoming a new chef and restaurant to the Walt Disney World family!

Later this year, Guests can expect the new restaurant to come to life. Chef Maneet Chauhan, acclaimed James Beard Award winner and Food Network star, and international hospitality entrepreneur Vivek Deora are bringing their concept to Disney.

EET Modern Indian

This modern Indian restaurant is the first of its kind in Disney Springs. “EET Restaurant is going to be a fine dining establishment offering an extraordinary culinary experience in Disney Springs. The restaurant will be a “modern, fun Indian-inspired concept” serving “fames Indian cuisine.” according to Disney Dining.

Chef Maneet Chauhan is known as a judge on the hit Food Network show Chopped. Outside of this new famed Indian cuisine restaurant, Chef Maneet has quite a resume. “In 2014, she opened Chauhan Ale & Masala House in Nashville, Tenn. Her first cookbook, Flavors of My World, was released in 2013. She is currently developing a signature spice line and hard at work on another cookbook,” just to name a few of her accolades.

Some fans took to the comments on Instagram to share their excitement. Thetravelmores wrote, “Yessssssss! Indian food is my absolute favorite. If choosing a restaurant in Disney Springs wasn’t hard enough!” While Chef Maneet herself commented, “Soooooo excited to be there.”

It’s safe to say we’re all looking forward to the newest addition in Disney Springs. Although there is no official opening date, Disney wrote to “be sure to check back for all the updates.”
