As you plan your next trip to Disney World, there can be a lot of pressure to get it right. The itineraries are endless, with so many options on where to stay and what to do while you are there. Depending on your party, some plans are given. When you have a smaller group, like you and your partner, the horizon broadens.
A trip to Disney can get expensive. Disney has Resort offerings for every budget and style, which makes vacationing at Disney so inclusive.
Typically, planners will think some of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts are the best fit for a couple. Resorts like Polynesian Village Resort, Riviera Resort, or Grand Floridian Resort can become expensive quickly.
You can stay at a Walt Disney Resort even if it’s not a deluxe Resort. Value Resorts are always a great option if you are trying to keep your spending on the Resort stay to a minimum. You can still have a “Magical Vacation” without breaking the bank using these tips.

Value Resorts
Disney offers five Value Resorts in Walt Disney World. The options are;
- Disney’s Pop Century
- Disney’s All-Star Movie
- Disney’s All-Star Sports
- Disney’s All-Star Music
- Disney’s Art of Animation
Narrowing your choices down to five still leaves a lot of options. As a couple, you may be looking for a more relaxing or intimate vacation. Something to note, depending on the time of year, schools will take trips to the Parks. Typically, students will stay at one of the All-Star Resorts, which may be an easy way to check it off your list if you’re looking for a quieter experience.

Perks
Like all of Disney’s Resorts, there are perks at Value Resorts. Free transportation to all the Parks is probably the most critical amenity offered. Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation also offer transportation via Skyliner. The Skyliner connects Guests to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Of course, all Resorts offer pools and dining options within walking distance from your room.

Best Value Resort for Couples
So which is the best for couples? I’d narrow it down to two. Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Art of Animation are great options for couples. Taking it further, I would say Disney’s Pop Century for the best! The newly renovated rooms offer a modern experience compared to the old-style theme rooms. There will always be character sitings in any Disney Resort room, but the new themes are sleeker, giving an adult-worthy vibe.
Additionally, for relaxing out by the pool, Disney’s Pop Century offers the Petals Pool Bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail at their Hippy Dippy Pool.
While Disney’s Pop Century may not be the “Most Romantic Disney Resort” in all of Disney World, it is more cost-efficient, allowing you to spend money on the finer things elsewhere. Making dinner reservations at one of EPCOT’s most romantic restaurants or doing a new excursion offered by Disney is where you can make that up. What Resort is your favorite stay?
