Meeting characters at this Hollywood Studios location just got easier!
This Disney Park is already home to some of the most unique character meet and greets, including Olaf from Frozen (2013), Mickey as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Fantasia (1940), and favorite characters from Star Wars and Toy Story, to name a few.

For Star Wars fans, Hollywood Studios is the only place to meet some of the franchise’s most beloved (or perhaps most feared in the case of First Order leader Kylo Ren) characters. While some of these characters can be found wandering through Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, fans of the films cannot miss the meet and greets located inside Star Wars Launch Bay.
Inside Star Wars: Launch Bay, Guests can meet loveable characters like BB-8 and Chewbacca, along with one of the most iconic movie villains ever, Darth Vader.

Since these characters returned to Star Wars Launch Bay, hours to meet them have run 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. According to a recent update in the My Disney Experience app, however, greeting times for Chewbacca, BB-8, and Darth Vader have been extended indefinitely to 7:00 p.m.
The additional two hours should help make it easier to plan your day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios by adding some extra flexibility when it comes to meeting popular characters.

Along with the character meet and greets at Star Wars Launch Bay, this Disney Park is packed with Star Wars experiences, including classic attractions like Star Tours, and new rides like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, plus a host of specialty dining and merchandise options.
