A recent viral video is sparking a heated discussion about parenting at Disney parks. The video, posted by TikTok user @gadzooks2025, shows a young child running into the path of a moving Disney parade. Luckily, a Disney character performer, quick on their feet, intervened and escorted the child to safety before the parade continued, averting what could have been a dangerous situation.

“Where are your parentsssss?” the TikTok user wrote.
The video quickly garnered over 3.5 million views and shows the child running towards Daisy Duck while the Disneyland Paris Resort parade is still in motion. As the child moved closer to the parade route, the Disney character performer grabbed her hand and swiftly moved her to the side, ensuring she was out of harm’s way.
As expected, the video stirred up plenty of reactions from viewers. Many were horrified that the child’s parents or caretakers were nowhere in sight to prevent the child from running into the parade route.
“First time I went to Disney my daughters were 7 and 4 and were excited but I still told them they couldn’t run up to characters and that they must wait in line,” @clairemitch86 commented. “It’s not hard and teaches them to listen and respect boundaries . The problem we have today is that the kids are the boss and parents are too scared to tell them no.”
“Parents will do everything for their kids except parent,” @mayhemmadland added.
Many praised the Disney character performer for their quick thinking and professional response.
“Problem is you let one kid get away with it, All of a sudden you have all these Karen moms yelling ‘what about my kids tho, that’s not fair,’” @lafeamasbella10 wrote. “Daisy did what she had to do. Educate yourselves over entitled parents.”
However, not everyone was critical of the parents. Some commenters defended the child and questioned the severity of the situation.
“I can’t believe this comment section…,” @vanessacuesta881 said. “Geez she’s a little girl excited to be there and y’all acting like she committed a crime?? Weird.”
“She just wanted a hug,” @wu27540 agreed. “I understand it was not appropriate time but she still is a baby.”
A reminder to all visitors: never walk in front of a moving Disney Park parade. Ask a Disney cast member for assistance if you need to cross the parade route.
