A viral video from Disneyland Resort has left Disney Parks fans on edge. Viewers watched in shock as a beloved character appeared to be in distress in front of a crowd of Disney Park guests. But the situation wasn’t quite as dire as it seemed…

The video, shared by TikTok user @k.inla, shows Grogu, affectionately known as Baby Yoda by Star Wars fans, spinning rapidly in the water near Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. The concerned Disney Park guest who recorded the video wrote, “Please help him,” as Grogu appeared to be struggling to stay above the water.

Thankfully, the panic was unwarranted. The distressed Disney character was, in fact, a lost toy. Grogu had inadvertently gotten sucked into a nearby underwater jet or filter system, possibly one used for the World of Color – One nighttime show. It’s unclear whether the toy was dropped into the water on purpose or by accident, but the scene sparked enough concern to go viral, accumulating over 50,000 likes and comments.

“Seems to be having the time of his life tbh,” @shill_matic joked. “I think this was his life goal… Let him be.”

“Yoda spins right round ready right round,” said @raeannemonson18.

Another Disney Park guest, @timmah84, confirmed that Grogu had been in the water since at least Saturday: “Lol, OMG I saw him in the water yesterday morning when we were waiting for our brunch res at [Lamplight Lounge]!”

While it’s important to remember that guests should never intentionally pollute waterways or enter restricted areas, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are equipped to handle such accidents. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation with a lost item in an inaccessible area, notify a Disney cast member. They can either retrieve the item or file a report with the appropriate team to search for it. Sometimes, it can take days for lost belongings to be recovered, so be sure to file a report with Disney’s lost and found to be reunited with your item after it is located.
