The Walt Disney World Resort is preparing to reopen its theme parks and Resorts following Hurricane Nicole, and operating hours for dining at hotels has now been confirmed.

Disney previously shared the reopening timeframe for its theme parks, which will begin to reopen today, November 10, 2022, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. depending on the Park. Select experiences (including Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios) will also remain unavailable today, and with several Resort restaurants opening before the Parks, you may want to dine at your hotel before heading out today.

According to the updated list on Disney’s official website, each Resort hotel opened at least one breakfast offering early this morning (between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.) however lunch and dinner seatings for select restaurants will continue to open some later than usual throughout the day.

Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for instance usually serves breakfast but will open to Guests just for dinner today at 5:00 p.m. Other late openings include Sebastian’s Grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at 4:30 p.m., and restaurants that are typically only open for dinner like Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If you are looking for a specific restaurant’s hours at Walt Disney World today, we recommend checking the updated list on Disney’s official website.

Unlike past hurricanes that have had a more severe impact on Central Florida, most Resort restaurants are open for dining as usual. In the past, depending on the severity of the storm, restaurants may be grab-and-go only, or a limited menu may be available in the form of boxed lunches or dinners for Guests to have while they shelter from the storm.

So far, it looks like Walt Disney World and the surrounding area has not sustained much damage from Hurricane Nicole, and once everything reopens the Resort should be in for a relatively normal holiday weekend.
