The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has become one of the most divisive Disney World experiences among fans, largely because of the cost associated with planning an immersive getaway aboard the Halcyon. As availability remains open for many voyages, however, Disney is continuing to expand discounts giving more Guests the chance to book.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser offers Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort an immersive two-night voyage complete with specialized activities, Star Wars characters, unique dining, and several ways to participate in your own Star Wars story, plus a visit to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, AKA Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Despite its high price points (about $4,800 for three Guests on a two-night stay, more or less depending on dates and cabin types) the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser sold out many of its initial voyages when the trips first launched in 2022.
In the months since, however, Disney has had a difficult time filling voyages to the point where several dates have been removed from the availability calendar altogether.

In the latest update to the discount lineup for the experience, Disney has expanded savings previously available only to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders to Disney Visa cardholders. Gotta Go Orlando reports that both Passholders and cardmembers will now be able to take advantage of 30% discounts on select voyages aboard the Starcruiser.
Eligible Guests will be able to use the discount (subject to availability) on the following dates:
- May 1, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 19, 21, 23, 25, 29 and 31
- June 2, 4, 6, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26 and 28
- July 2, 8, 10, 22, 24 and 30
- August 3, 13 and 29

Additionally, like other Disney Visa discounts, Guests booking with this offer must use their Disney Visa card for the initial deposit and will be required to present the card at check-in. (A similar process is in place for Annual Passholders, both on the Starcruiser and at traditional Walt Disney World hotels.)
It should also be noted that the 30% savings is only valid for standard cabins aboard the Halcyon. Guests looking to book a Galaxy Class or Grand Captain suite would not be included in this offer.
