Disney Junior & Friends Playdate Coming to Disneyland

Plan your trip to Disneyland this August with the whole family! You and your kids won’t want to miss this limited-time event hosted at Disneyland Resort. Parents of young Disney fans can get excited about this event explicitly geared toward children in the three-day event.

More recently, Guests have openly voiced their opinions on Disney adults. With the idea of Adult Only Days, “parents felt their children’s experiences were getting lost in the shuffle of the Walt Disney Company’s desire to cater to and make money off an older crowd,” Disney Dining explains. It seems like Disney has listened, releasing this event specifically for the younger Disney fans and their families. Disney took to their social media to share the news with all Disney fans.

Disney Junior & Friends Playdate

This three-day event is a playdate you won’t want to miss! Disney’s playdate is an “Event celebrating the magical, entertaining, and music-filled stories of Disney Junior’s hit series, will bring the magic straight to preschoolers and their families.” The celebration will kick off on Friday, August 18, 2023, in Disneyland California Adventure Park. To follow, the event will continue at Downtown Disney District on Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20.

Disneyland California Adventure Park, Friday

Join in one day, or join in on all three; regardless, you are guaranteed to have fun! Guests can look forward to multiple experiences in Disneyland California Adventure Park on Friday, August 18. Some of these events include;

• A Playdate Party Parade featuring beloved Disney Junior characters
• A special “Disney Junior Live! Playdate” stage
• The seasonal “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party”
• A “Spidey and his Amazing Friends” photo wall
• Plus, you can enjoy regular Disney Junior programming at Disney California Adventure, including the popular “Disney Junior Dance Party!”

Downtown Disney District, Saturday and Sunday

The fun will move to Downtown Disney District on Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20. Guests can jump in on the fun celebrations;

• Disney Junior-themed treats at Marceline’s Confectionary.
• A “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” photo wall at Downtown Disney.
