One Disney resort is set to kick off its government-controlled sale next week.

While “low prices” isn’t exactly a phrase most fans associate with the parks, Disney does slash prices on merchandise, tickets, and hotels on occasion. This year has seen Disney World introduce several surprisingly decent deals for hotel guests – including up to 35% off at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts – as well as an aggressively discounted two-day, two-park ticket.

Inside the parks themselves, Disney has previously introduced massive reductions for merchandise it’s struggling to shift. In the past, that has included Disney World’s 50th anniversary collection, as well as items inspired by Wish (2023).

At one Disney resort, mass reductions are introduced twice a year – as per government regulations – with the next sale set to hit on Wednesday.

Disneyland Paris will kick off its summer sale on June 24.

This sale comes as part of a program from the French government, which runs two official sales periods per year. Summer sales usually start on the last Wednesday of June at 8 a.m. (or the Wednesday before, if the last Wednesday of the month falls after June 28).

Winter sales traditionally start on the second Wednesday of January at 8 a.m. (or the first Wednesday after January 12).

In the past, Disney has massively discounted everything from hoodies to plushies.

Starting June 24, the summer sales begin at Disneyland Paris! 🛍️✨

Disneyland Pass holders can also enjoy early access at World of Disney in Disney Village, shopping 1 hour before everyone else from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on June 24. #DisneylandParis

As was the case for the winter sales in January, annual passholders are set to receive early access. Anyone with a Disneyland Pass (the system that introduced the resort’s annual pass in 2023) can enjoy early access to World of Disney in Disney Village, Disneyland Paris’ shopping and dining district, from 8 a.m.

Passholders will be able to combine their usual discounts with up to 50% off select items.

Those without a Disneyland Pass can start shopping from 9 a.m.

Notably, extremely high temperatures are slated to hit Disneyland Paris on Wednesday. Temperatures are forecast to reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit. For context, the average high in Paris in June is 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

With the parks already experiencing high temperatures this weekend, Disneyland Park has implemented changes to its entertainment. All costumed characters – except for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Olaf – have been temporarily removed from Disney Stars on Parade, while face characters have also replaced several costumed character meet-and-greets usually held outdoors.

It’s currently unclear whether any changes will be implemented to prevent guests from queuing outdoors for the summer sales on June 24.
