Disney’s theme parks are entering a new phase of expansion — but not every detail of the future is appearing in the marketing.
A recently released advertisement promoting Disneyland Paris’ upcoming Disney Adventure World rebrand has sparked discussion among fans online after several existing attractions appeared to be missing from the promotional imagery.

The omissions may simply be a matter of presentation. Still, the changes were quickly noticed by eagle-eyed viewers.
Next week, The Walt Disney Company is expected to undergo a leadership transition as Bob Iger exits the CEO role and Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro takes over. The leadership shift comes during a major investment push across Disney’s global theme park portfolio.
Disney has committed $60 billion toward parks and experiences over the next decade. The funding is expected to support large-scale expansions across multiple resorts, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
Several projects are already underway.
At Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom is preparing to add a Cars-themed land and a Disney Villains land. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is introducing Tropical Americas, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will add a Monsters, Inc. land alongside an updated Animation Courtyard, now renamed The Walt Disney Studios.
Disneyland Resort in California also has major projects planned, including two new Avengers Campus rides, a Coco attraction, and a land inspired by the Avatar franchise.
However, the most visible transformation may be happening in France.
Disney Adventure World Set to Replace Walt Disney Studios Park
Later this month, Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris will officially become Disney Adventure World.
The change is part of a broader effort to reshape the park, which has often been criticized by fans for its limited attractions and minimal theming compared with other Disney parks.
Disney is attempting to address those criticisms with a series of new developments.
World of Frozen will introduce a detailed recreation of Arendelle from the Frozen films. Adventure Bay will serve as the park’s central hub and feature a new nighttime show called Cascade of Lights.
The park will also receive Raiponce Tangled Spin, a Tangled-themed attraction, and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, where Disney princesses will appear in new costumes designed specifically for the venue.
Disney has described the changes as the start of a new chapter for the park.
But a promotional advertisement for Disney Adventure World has now raised questions among fans.
Advertisement Leaves Out Several Existing Attractions
The advertisement showcases the park’s upcoming additions and presents a sweeping view of Adventure Bay and the surrounding lands.
However, several existing attractions do not appear in the imagery.
Fans quickly pointed out the absence of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The building that houses Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is also missing.
The former location of the Moteurs… Action!: Stunt Show Spectacular does not appear either. Cars Road Trip is also notably absent.
Each of the missing elements sits outside the scenic waterfront areas highlighted in the advertisement.
Large show buildings or industrial-looking structures could interrupt the clean sightlines Disney appears to be emphasizing in the promotional imagery.
Some fans also suggested the advertisement enhances certain parts of the park.
This amount of false advertisement for Disney Adventure World is CRAZY😭:
-Ratatouille lost its 3D and isn’t that immersive
-Arendelle doesnt have multiple streets to explore, it’s ONE dead end
-No Flight showbuilding, Stunt Show, TOT. Only care about sightlines for commercials🙃

The missing attractions are still operating, and the advertisement does not indicate that Disney plans to remove them.
However, both Tower of Terror and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force have been the subject of speculation in recent years.
Tower of Terror sits directly beside Avengers Campus, leading some fans to wonder if it could eventually receive a Marvel-themed retheme similar to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure.
The Paris version of the ride currently features three storylines: The Malevolent Machine, The Shaft Creatures, and The 5th Dimension.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force has also faced criticism since opening in 2022, when it replaced Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster.
Shortly after the attraction debuted, reports circulated that Disney executives — including then-CEO Bob Chapek and Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro — were disappointed with the final product, with Walt Disney Imagineering said to be exploring potential updates.
No changes have been announced so far.
Still, some fans say the advertisement creates an unrealistic picture of the park.
“It may not seem like much, but when you’re showing potential guests, ‘Look, this is the new area’ but things have been omitted and moved around… that is misleading, no?” one fan wrote on X.
For now, the rides remain part of Disneyland Paris.
But the discussion highlights how closely fans are watching Disney’s plans as Disney Adventure World prepares to debut.
