The Walt Disney World Resort is packed with merchandise that Disney fans will simply feel they “need to have” during their trips to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Some of the most popular souvenirs Guests tend to go after at the Parks and Resorts are those tied to seasonal events and anniversary celebrations. And unfortunately, for those unable to pick up said items when they are first available, these are the pieces that tend to be cleared out by resellers.

Recently, Disney has been much better about restocking some of these incredibly popular “limited-time” items so that more guests can shop, even if they initially sell out. Fans of some of the last year’s worth of anniversary merchandise are about to be in luck, as enough stock now remains for Disney to begin discounting those items that were once very hard to find.
Guests at Walt Disney World have recently spotted some very exciting discounts on merchandise from EPCOT’s 40th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the Resort. When “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” kicked off on October 1, 2021, fans (and resellers) scooped up much of the celebration’s merchandise, including special edition Minnie ear headbands, Starbucks tumblers, spirit jerseys, several pieces from the Vault Collection, and more. The cycle continued with EPCOT’s 40th-anniversary specialty items In October 2022.

The discounted EPCOT40 merchandise includes t-shirts, mugs, Minnie ear headbands, and Loungefly bags, to name a few, and it is marked down by 40% (with Cast Member, Annual Passholder, or other discounts applied on top of this savings.)
Occasionally when items go on sale in the theme parks, we find them (for slightly higher prices) on shopDisney; however, this does not appear to be the case with the EPCOT40 collection. That being said, if you are visiting Disney World in the near future, you may want to head over to EPCOT and see what you can find.
As for 50th-anniversary merch, TikTok user @partofbrookesworld recently pointed out that one of the Minnie ear headbands from the event is now marked down to $20 from its original price of $39.99:

Your best bet for finding discounted anniversary merchandise? Head over to the outlets! There are Disney Character Warehouse locations at the Orlando Premium Outlets and the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets nearby the theme parks and Resorts, and if you are on the hunt for items from the Parks at a greater savings, these shops will be your best bet.
If you are shopping from afar, the 50th-anniversary Minnie ear headbands are not discounted on shopDisney, but all of the remaining headbands from the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection are now marked down online.
