Discounted Disney Park Merchandise Might Be at This Store Near You!

Looking for Disney Park merchandise when you’re not able to visit “The Most Magical Place on Earth”? Tracking down pieces from Walt Disney World (and Disneyland) outside of the theme parks can be quite a challenge, especially if you do not live near Orlando or Anaheim.

With the Disney Store continuing to (sadly) disappear from malls and outlets across the country, it may seem like shopDisney, and other online outlets are the only ways to hunt down Disney Parks pieces from home. Thankfully, there are some retailers that occasionally carry items from the theme parks, and many of them are heavily discounted!

If you have time to get away from the theme parks at Walt Disney World, you can always visit the Disney Character Warehouse at the Orlando Premium Outlets to find discounted merchandise. Closer to home, however, the best spot to save on Disney Parks items might not be what you would expect…

Burlington Coat Factory is an overstock retailer found in several U.S. states that keeps prices low by selling customers items that did not sell at pricier department stores. In addition to stocking merchandise from major fashion brands and housewares designers, shoppers can occasionally find Disney Parks items here, including Minnie ear headbands, plush, spirit jerseys, drinkware, and more.

During my last trip to my local Burlington Coat Factory, I was able to find a Disney Parks Halloween candle, a Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland tea set, and the Minnie Ear headband shown in the photo below by @DisneyDan:

For reference on pricing, the Orange Bird plush was priced at $6.99 (originally $29.99) while the ear headband was $5.99 (originally $29.99).

Due to the layout of Burlington Coat Factory, you may need to pack your patience as the Disney Parks items could easily be hidden among, well, everything else. The Minnie ear headband I found for instance was mixed in a huge section packed with winter essentials like hats, gloves, and scarves. Spirit jerseys and Disney Park T-shirts have been found at Burlington, too, but you’ll need to come to the store with plenty of time to search through all of the racks.

Of course, like any overstock retailer, you can never guarantee whether or not Disney Parks merchandise is currently at Burlington Coat Factory, but if you have the time to spend, it never hurts to take a look!
