Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
Walt Disney World Resort has spent this week making several announcements about its 2025 Christmas celebrations. However, the updates came with some contradicting information that suggests Disney is worried that the usual holiday crowds won’t show up this year.

Earlier this week, Walt Disney World Resort announced the return of popular holiday offerings, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and the Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Unlike other holiday celebrations, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights aren’t included with regular Disney theme park tickets. This year, the price of these hard-ticketed special events went up as much as $10 and $20 per guest, respectively.
One day after announcing the price hike on Christmas special event tickets, though, Walt Disney World Resort announced several historic discounts for the holiday season. Annual Passholders can save up to 30% on Disney Resort hotel stays, while other guests can save up to 20% and receive a $100 shopping and dining card.

Christmas is typically one of the busiest times of year at Walt Disney World Resort, but this year might be a bit different. It appears that the Central Florida Disney park is using discounts to try to entice families to spend the holiday season at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Will it work? Time will tell. Sure, early November (before Thanksgiving) and early December (after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas school breaks) are historically quieter weeks…However, 2025 may see the lowest holiday crowd levels at Walt Disney World Resort yet.
