Planning a Walt Disney World vacation for late 2027 will require a bigger budget.
Disney World has revealed new ticket prices for November and December 2027, offering an early look at what families will pay during some of the year’s busiest weeks. And the numbers aren’t pretty.
Several parks will reach new record highs, pushing an already expensive vacation even further. But one particular ticket increase stands above the rest, crossing a threshold that would have seemed almost unthinkable just a few years ago.
And admission is only the beginning.
Once families add in food, hotels, Lightning Lane access, merchandise, and other vacation expenses, the final price can be difficult to swallow.
So, just how expensive is Disney World becoming in 2027?
Disney World Tickets Are Already Expensive
Nobody would call a Disney World vacation cheap right now.
Disney uses date-based pricing, which means the cost of a one-day ticket changes depending on when guests visit and which park they choose.
In 2026, a one-day ticket to Magic Kingdom ranges from $139 to $209 before tax. Disney’s Hollywood Studios ranges from $139 to $204, while EPCOT ranges from $129 to $209.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom remains the least expensive of the four parks, with one-day admission ranging from $119 to $184 before tax.
Those numbers already create a major expense for families, especially during popular travel periods when prices move toward the top of those ranges.
A family of four visiting Magic Kingdom on a $209 day, for example, starts with more than $800 in base admission before taxes or any additional purchases come into play.
Unfortunately, late 2027 will push that ceiling even higher.

New Peak Prices Arrive in November and December 2027
Disney World has now revealed its ticket pricing for November and December 2027, and guests traveling during peak dates should prepare for another increase.
Magic Kingdom will reach a new peak one-day price of $229.
EPCOT will also climb to $229 on its most expensive dates, putting it alongside Magic Kingdom at the top of the four parks.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reach $214, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom will top out at $189.
Those increases may not look enormous when viewed individually, but they can add up quickly when multiple people are traveling together.
The difference becomes even more noticeable when guests begin adding upgrades to their tickets.
And that’s where Disney World crosses a line it hasn’t crossed before.

One Special Ticket Crosses $300
For guests who want the freedom to visit multiple parks during the same day, the numbers become even more surprising.
In 2027, the regular one-day Park Hopper ticket will reach $301 on the most expensive date, including taxes.
More than $300 for one person. For one day.
That means a family of four purchasing the same tickets could be looking at more than $1,200 just for admission.
It’s important to remember that Park Hopper pricing works differently when guests purchase longer tickets. The per-day cost decreases as visitors add more days, so someone buying a weeklong vacation package isn’t necessarily paying $301 for every day of the trip.
Still, seeing a one-day Disney World ticket cross $300 is a major milestone, even if it is for Park Hopper.
And tickets aren’t the only thing getting more expensive.
Disney has also increased prices across all four Annual Pass tiers, adding another expense for frequent visitors who want to continue visiting the resort year-round.
For families already struggling to make the numbers work, these increases could change how they plan their vacations.

Admission Probably Won’t Be the Only Expense That Climbs
The ticket itself represents only part of the cost of a Disney World vacation.
Guests also have to consider hotel rooms, food, drinks, transportation, merchandise, and optional upgrades. Lightning Lane purchases can add another significant expense for families hoping to spend less time waiting in standby lines.
That’s why the new 2027 ticket prices raise another question: What else will cost more by then?
Disney regularly adjusts prices throughout the resort, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see higher prices for hotel rooms, Lightning Lane options, food, beverages, and merchandise as 2027 approaches.
Even relatively small increases become noticeable when they occur simultaneously.
Add a few dollars to meals, increase a hotel rate, raise Lightning Lane prices, and bump up merchandise costs, and suddenly a vacation can cost hundreds of dollars more than a similar trip did previously.

How Much Is Too Much for a Disney World Vacation?
Disney World will have plenty working in its favor heading into late 2027.
Major new experiences, including Pueblo Esperanza at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and portions of Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will give guests new reasons to visit. But those additions won’t make higher prices easier to absorb.
When a single-day ticket can exceed $300 with Park Hopper access and tax, families have to decide what a Disney World vacation is actually worth.
Some may take shorter trips, buy fewer park days, skip Lightning Lane purchases, or stay off-property. Others may decide Disney World simply costs too much.
And with late 2027 still more than a year away, we’re nervous to see what happens to the rest of the vacation budget.
Disney World will have new attractions to sell. The bigger question is how many families will still feel they can afford them.
