The day is finally here!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party opens tonight at Magic Kingdom, which means Halloween season at Walt Disney World is officially underway. After months of showtime announcements, character lineups, and ticket dates quietly selling out, the first party night is finally here.
And if you have spent any time in these parks recently, you know the party is only part of it. Halloween season at Walt Disney World comes with a whole ecosystem of merchandise, and no category has grown more in the last few years than novelties. Popcorn buckets and sippers have gone from throwaway souvenirs to genuine collector items, with people planning park days around a release and resale listings appearing within hours.
There is a practical side to it, too. A sipper or bucket usually comes with a refill discount, so guests who plan to be in the park all day can actually make the math work in their favor.
Two brand new novelties arrive today, two more are exclusive to the party itself, and two fan favorites are back from last year.

Vampire Mickey Popcorn Bucket
Mickey Mouse is getting the vampire treatment for 2026.

The wide availability is worth noting. Being at all four theme parks makes this one considerably easier to track down than the party-exclusive options, which matters if you are visiting on a day with no party.

Light-up novelties tend to move faster than standard ones, so if this is on your list, earlier in the season is the safer bet. Note that it is at three parks rather than four, so Animal Kingdom guests will need to plan around that.
Two Halloween Party-Exclusive Buckets at Magic Kingdom
Disney previously announced two novelties that will be exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Both will be sold at popcorn carts near Cinderella Castle during party nights
These are the ones to prioritize if you have a party ticket, because you cannot get them on a regular park day. Both designs pull directly from Magic Kingdom Halloween traditions, the Headless Horseman from the pre-parade and the Hatbox Ghost from the Haunted Mansion, which makes them a natural fit for collectors who buy based on theming rather than character.

If you are attending a party night, build in time for this. The carts near Cinderella Castle sit in the busiest part of the park during the busiest hours, and lines form.

The placement here is interesting. Both returning items live entirely outside the four theme parks, which means a Disney Springs evening or a water park day is the only way to get them.
That is actually good news for anyone trying to collect. Disney Springs requires no ticket, so the Stitch Mummy Bucket is accessible even on a travel day or a day off from the parks.

That last point deserves emphasis. Stitch merchandise at Walt Disney World moves faster than almost anything else on property, and the Mummy Bucket was popular enough last year to earn a return. Do not assume it will still be around in late October.
