Magic Kingdom’s popular Halloween event is back, bringing costumes, candy, rare characters, special entertainment, and plenty of reasons to stay until midnight. With so much happening in five hours, it’s easy to focus entirely on the major entertainment and attractions.
However, guests with party tickets are also receiving three complimentary perks this year.
None requires an additional purchase, and two can become easy souvenirs to remember the party long after Halloween ends.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Takes Over Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom during the Halloween season.
Once the party begins, the park feels different from a normal operating day. Guests can wear costumes in accordance with Disney’s guidelines, collect candy, meet characters, enjoy Halloween entertainment, and experience attractions throughout the night.
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade remains one of the biggest draws. Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular brings Halloween fireworks to Cinderella Castle, while the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular adds another party-exclusive show.
There are also attraction overlays, specialty food and merchandise, and character appearances that aren’t typically available during a regular Magic Kingdom visit.
With only a few hours to fit everything in, guests may overlook some smaller things included with admission.
1. Free Treats
You probably aren’t going to leave Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party empty-handed.

There’s no need to bring a trick-or-treat bucket from home unless you want something larger.
Party guests receive a complimentary trick-or-treat bag to use as they make their way through the treat trails. Even better, the 2026 version doubles as a small souvenir.
The bag features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on one side, giving it the classic Disney Halloween look guests might expect.
Flip it around, however, and the design gets spookier.
The other side features the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion, making the bag especially fun for fans of the classic Magic Kingdom attraction.
Guests can use it for candy during the party and then take it home. For anyone who collects Disney Halloween items, it’s an easy addition without needing another merchandise purchase.

Bring some small Halloween stickers and place one over each ride or attraction you experience during the party. By midnight, your map becomes a record of what you accomplished that evening.

What to Know Before Your Night at Magic Kingdom
Getting the most from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts before the first parade or handful of candy.
Guests with valid party tickets can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m., even though the event doesn’t officially start until 7 p.m. The party then runs until midnight.
Guests should also make sure they receive and wear their party wristband. Once regular Magic Kingdom operations end for day guests, Cast Members check for wristbands as the park transitions into the separately ticketed event. Guests without a valid party admission cannot remain for the party.
Arriving early can give you time to get situated before 7 p.m., rather than using valuable party time figuring everything out.
Between the entertainment, rides, characters, and mountains of candy, five hours can disappear quickly.
