Next week, Disney World guests will encounter a vastly different Magic Kingdom Park as 2026 speeds along.

On Sunday, November 1, Disney World guests will walk into a different version of Magic Kingdom, as the Halloween season officially comes to an end. Not only will November 1 mark the end of the current fall decor across the Walt Disney World Resort, but it will also set in motion the beginning of the busy and popular Christmas holiday period.
After a huge number of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights at Magic Kingdom (a hard-ticket event which started two months ago in early August), Disney World will officially move on into its final festive stretch of the calendar year, swapping pumpkins for Christmas trees and the Sanderson Sisters for Santa Claus.
Disney World is well-known for its quick festive turnarounds, with cast members beginning to tear down the fall and Halloween decor immediately after the final Not-So-Scary on October 31. While the installation of the Christmas decorations will be a phased approach, guests heading into the park on the morning of November 1 will see the first sprinkles of holiday magic adorning Main Street, U.S.A. and beyond.

There is a lot to look forward to at Magic Kingdom when the holiday season officially hits the park. From the Frozen Holiday Surprise at the Cinderella Castle icon to the transformation of Jungle Cruise to Jingle Cruise and the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, guests can take part in many celebrations throughout the season.
The official Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort commences on November 13, with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party opening five days earlier on November 8. 10 dates have already sold out for the hard-ticketed event (at the time of publication), with guests continuing to prove that they will pay higher prices for these themed–and lower crowd–party nights.
With the arrival of the festive decor at Disney World, so does the arrival of a series of new ceiling prices for the Lightning Lane Single Pass. November 1 marks an increase in the highest price point for four of the major Single Pass attractions, including both at Magic Kingdom: TRON Lightcycle / Run and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

In addition, November 1 also sees the return of the top-tier Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom, with guests billed $449 if they choose to purchase the premium add-on.
