Walt Disney World Resort is increasing the cost of skipping the line once again. Beginning November 1, 2026, the maximum prices for Lightning Lane Single Pass will rise at four of the resort’s most popular attractions, pushing each one to a new record high. Not only that, but other Lightning Lane offerings will return to their ceiling prices.

The increases on the Single Passes range from $1 to $3 per person and arrive just ahead of the busy holiday season. On the same day, the Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass returns to its highest price of $449.

Four Attractions Reach Record Single Pass Prices

Lightning Lane Single Pass is sold separately for headline attractions that are excluded from the standard Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Disney uses date-based, demand-driven pricing, so guests will not necessarily pay the maximum every day.

The biggest jump comes at EPCOT, where the maximum price for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rises from $22 to $25. Over at Magic Kingdom, TRON Lightcycle / Run climbs from $23 to $25, putting it level with Cosmic Rewind as the most expensive option on the list, while Seven Dwarfs Mine Train sees a $3 increase, moving from $15 to $18. Animal Kingdom’s Avatar Flight of Passage gets the smallest bump of the group, with its maximum rising by just $1, from $19 to $20.

Magic Kingdom Premier Pass Returns to $449

The Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass also returns to its highest price of $449 on November 1. That price is usually reserved for peak periods such as Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The return to top-tier pricing comes after Walt Disney World Resort introduced a new lowest price point of $299 for the Magic Kingdom Premier Pass earlier this year.

How Far Lightning Lane Prices Have Climbed

Compared with reported launch pricing, the cost of skipping the line has grown considerably:

  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: from $10 to $18
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: from $14 to $25
  • Avatar Flight of Passage: from $13 to $20
  • TRON Lightcycle / Run: from $19 to $25

These are maximum prices, and Disney adjusts costs according to demand and visit dates. Guests should check the My Disney Experience app for the prices on their chosen days.

Why the Increases Arrive in November

The timing is no accident. November brings Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, while EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins later in the month.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are also major vacation periods. Longer standby waits may push more visitors to pay for Lightning Lane access, even at record prices. If you are planning a November or holiday trip, budget for higher Lightning Lane costs, particularly if you hope to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with the whole family.

Not every visitor will pay the new maximums, as prices remain variable by date. If you would rather avoid the extra spending altogether, arriving before park opening, planning around expected wait times, and sticking with standby queues remain the best ways to keep costs down.

About Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
