Disney World Raises Prices Again, Popular EPCOT Experience Now Costs Up to $194

Another round of price changes has arrived at Walt Disney World, and this time, guests planning special dining and nighttime entertainment experiences are among those paying more.

Disney has increased prices for several Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, affecting guests who want to combine a table-service meal with guaranteed seating for the park’s nighttime spectacular.

Over at EPCOT, another premium experience is changing in a slightly different way. Instead of simply raising one fixed price, Disney has introduced date-based pricing for the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience.

The changes arrive alongside a broader wave of Walt Disney World price increases, including adjustments to tickets, food and beverages, select tours, and Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties.

For families already watching their vacation budgets, these smaller increases can quickly begin adding up.

Fantasmic! Dining Packages Are Getting More Expensive

Fantasmic! remains one of the biggest nighttime draws at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney offers a way for guests to avoid worrying about finding a good seat.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package combines a meal at a participating table-service restaurant with guaranteed seating for a performance of Fantasmic! later that day. Four Hollywood Studios restaurants currently participate in the program.

That convenience now costs a little more at most locations.

The increases aren’t enormous when looking at one guest, but the difference becomes more noticeable for families purchasing packages for several people.

At 50’s Prime Time Café, the adult package now costs $62, up from $60. The children’s price remains unchanged at $23.

That represents a $2 increase for adults.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant received a slightly larger adjustment. The adult price jumped from $59 to $62, while the children’s package remains $23.

For an individual adult, another $2 or $3 might not change a vacation budget significantly. But a family with multiple adults could pay considerably more once those increases are multiplied across everyone in the group.

Hollywood & Vine Prices Change for Adults and Kids

Hollywood & Vine also received pricing adjustments, although the changes depend on both the meal and the age of the guest.

The adult breakfast package now costs $68, compared to $67 previously. Adult lunch and dinner packages increased from $82 to $83.

Children’s breakfast pricing also increased by $1, moving from $42 to $43.

Interestingly, not every change resulted in a higher price.

The children’s lunch and dinner package actually dropped from $53 to $52.

That makes Hollywood & Vine somewhat unusual within this latest round of adjustments. Adults are paying slightly more across the board, while families purchasing a lunch or dinner package for children will actually save a dollar per child compared to the previous price.

The individual differences remain relatively small, but Disney vacations involve plenty of expenses where an extra dollar here and another few dollars there can eventually turn into a meaningful amount.

Hollywood Brown Derby Also Gets a Price Increase

The Hollywood Brown Derby remains the most expensive Fantasmic! Dining Package option among the four participating restaurants.

Adults now pay $84 for the package, an increase from the previous $83 price.

Children’s pricing remains unchanged at $31.

That means a family choosing the Hollywood Brown Derby will still be paying a premium compared to the other available restaurants, though the latest increase itself is only $1 per adult.

The bigger question for guests may be how much they value the guaranteed Fantasmic! seating.

Guests aren’t simply paying for food with these packages. The appeal comes from combining a table-service meal with reserved seating for one of Hollywood Studios’ most popular nighttime offerings.

For visitors who already planned to eat at one of these restaurants, the package can still offer convenience. Families who are primarily trying to keep costs down, however, may have to decide whether guaranteed seating is worth adding to an already expensive Disney day.

And Disney isn’t stopping with Hollywood Studios.

EPCOT Introduces Date-Based Pricing for GEO-82 Fireworks Experience

A more significant pricing change has arrived at EPCOT.

The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience previously carried a fixed price of $179 per person. Disney has now moved the adults-only experience to variable pricing.

Prices still begin at $179, meaning the lowest available price hasn’t technically increased.

Depending on the date, however, guests can now pay as much as $194 per person.

That’s a difference of up to $15 per guest.

For two people booking the experience on a higher-priced date, that could mean spending $30 more than they would have under the previous flat pricing structure.

The move also introduces another variable that guests will need to consider when planning their EPCOT visit.

Rather than knowing the experience always costs the same amount, visitors now have to check the specific date they want to attend.

What Guests Get With the GEO-82 Experience

GEO-82 is already positioned as a premium EPCOT offering.

The experience is exclusively available to guests ages 21 and older and includes guaranteed viewing for Luminous: The Symphony of Us.

Guests also receive champagne, a tasting tower, and small desserts as part of the experience.

At $179 per person, it was already a significant splurge. At the new maximum price of $194, two adults could spend $388 before considering other expenses from their EPCOT day.

That makes the introduction of variable pricing particularly notable.

Disney has long used date-based pricing for theme park tickets, with more popular dates generally costing more than less-demanded periods. Now, guests booking this particular premium fireworks experience will also encounter prices that can change depending on their selected date.

For someone with flexible vacation plans, checking multiple dates could become worthwhile before booking.

These Changes Are Part of a Much Bigger Disney World Price Shift

Neither the Fantasmic! Dining Package increases nor the GEO-82 change is happening in isolation.

Walt Disney World has rolled out several price adjustments as part of its latest annual round of increases.

Food and beverage prices have changed around the resort, while admission prices have also been affected. Select tours and Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties have received increases as well.

That’s important because Disney vacation costs rarely come down to one purchase.

A guest may see a $1 increase on one dining package and consider it insignificant. Add another few dollars to a different experience, higher food costs throughout the trip, more expensive admission, and other premium offerings, and the total vacation price can start climbing much faster.

The Fantasmic! increases are relatively modest on their own. The GEO-82 adjustment has the potential to be much larger, particularly because Disney hasn’t simply replaced $179 with a new fixed price.

Instead, guests could pay anywhere from $179 to $194 depending on when they visit.

Disney Guests Will Have to Watch Their Dates More Closely

The latest changes give Disney World visitors another reason to pay close attention to pricing before finalizing their plans.

For Fantasmic! Dining Packages, the math is fairly straightforward. Most adult prices increased by between $1 and $3, while children’s prices largely stayed the same, with a couple of exceptions.

GEO-82 presents a different situation.

Guests can still find the experience at its previous $179 price, but other dates can cost as much as $194. That means two people booking identical experiences on different dates could end up paying noticeably different totals.

As Disney continues offering premium ways to enhance a theme park day, visitors have more choices about where to spend extra money. Guaranteed Fantasmic! seating and a reserved EPCOT fireworks experience may be worthwhile splurges for some guests.

But those splurges continue to get more expensive.

And with price increases appearing across multiple parts of Walt Disney World at the same time, families planning upcoming trips may want to take another look at their budgets before booking every add-on they originally had in mind.
