Disney Announces First-of-its-Kind After Dark Special Event

There’s no better way to wave goodbye to your high school years than to spend your grad night at a Disney Park.

On our Disney Grad Nite, we stayed up all night, danced down Main Street, U.S.A. to the top hits of the 2000s, rode Splash Mountain 4 times in a row without getting out of our log (was not a great idea to get soaking wet at 3:00 a.m.), and stood in line for 2 hours to get on Space Mountain with all 400 of our classmates.

Now, Disney has announced a brand-new event for all Guests seeking some nostalgia!

Disneyland Grad Nite has been around since the 1960s and just came back this year after being put on pause during our pandemic years. Guests at this special ticketed event will take a stroll down memory lane, enjoying music and themes from the past 6 decades! Hello, nostalgia!

And today, April 26, Disney Parks has JUST announced they will host a brand new event: Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion:

Relive the glory days with a party for the decades at the first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion!  This separately ticketed event is coming select nights this June to Disney California Adventure park: spr.ly/6010Kh4OK

Disney says that attendees of the Grad Nite Reunion can expect a TON of exciting surprises and activities.

The seven-hour event includes three hours of fun with the daily theme park crowd along with four hours of exclusive after-hours fun once Disney California Adventure closes to the general public for the day.

When you buy a ticket for the Grad Nite Reunion, you will have special after-hours access to Disney’s California Adventure where you will have short wait times for the attractions, special character appearances (dressed to the 9’s in their caps and gowns), retro photo opportunities, a pep rally, special “school-cafeteria” inspired foods, and plenty of space for dancing and boogying the night away.

Disneyland has not announced hours or prices for the Grad Nite Reunion events. Other Disneyland After Dark events typically start at 8 or 9 p.m. with prices starting at $109.

So, grab a few of your friends and relive your favorite grad nite memories in this one-of-a-kind Disney reunion event.

This limited-time event is only happening on June 23, 28, and 30 so you have to act quickly if you want to attend. Tickets go on sale on April 28, 2022, at www.Disneyland.com
