Disney Parks are home to some of the most iconic methods of transportation around. Whether it is watercraft, buses, or the Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World, or the monorail system that operates at both Disney World and Disneyland, getting to a Disney Park is an experience in itself.

Guests at the Disneyland Resort can use the monorail to travel between Tomorrowland inside Disneyland Park and a station outside the Park at Downtown Disney (with valid theme park admission to enter the Park via the monorail).
If you have a trip to the Disneyland Resort coming up soon, you will want to take note of the days that the Disneyland monorail is scheduled to close for a refurbishment.

According to Disneyland’s official website, a brief closure of the monorail system is scheduled from March 20, 2023 to March 24, 2023. During this time, Guests will need to enter Disneyland through the main entrance rather than via the monorail loop from Downtown Disney.
The Disneyland monorail recently underwent a makeover to kick off the Disney100 celebration and the iridescent wrap looks beautiful, especially as the trains pass over the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage lagoon.

The original Disneyland Monorail later inspired similar designs for monorail systems at Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disney Resort. It debuted in 1959 for the first major expansion of Disneyland Park, and today the fleet includes Red, Blue and Orange Mark VII trains.
