Construction in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has begun to merge with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
In July 2025, Disney cast members placed bright, colorful construction panels around a walkway near Toy Story Land’s bathrooms, right near the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Though the purpose of the construction isn’t fully clear, permits suggest that a new snack stand could be taking shape in this space.

Since Toy Story Land opened in 2018, Walt Disney World Resort has worked to improve the dining experience for guests. Initially, Toy Story Land offered only Woody’s Lunch Box as a dining option, but the seating was minimal and lacked shade, making it an uncomfortable choice for theme park guests in sunny Central Florida. Over time, the area has received several improvements, including more shaded seating and the addition of the Roundup Rodeo BBQ, an indoor Table Service dining location that opened in 2023.
Now, Toy Story Land seems to be bleeding into the boundaries of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The construction walls have extended to connect Toy Story Land with the entrance of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The bright, rainbow walls turn a plain brown the moment they cross the border into Batuu.

Laughing Place also reported that Disney had removed the Toy Story Land marquee near the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge entrance. However, it’s still unclear if this is a temporary change or part of a larger, permanent transformation.
At this point, it’s uncertain whether this expansion of Toy Story Land into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is temporary or permanent. No additional permits have been filed for further changes, which suggests that the rumored snack stand remains the primary focus of the work.
