As reported by Wdwmagic, a section of the Main Street U.S.A. Railroad Station at Magic Kingdom is now under refurbishment. As a result, several construction walls can be seen around the station, with some blocking access to certain parts of the main staircase.
While Walt Disney World is one of many rides and attractions, some of which have been entertaining and inspiring guests for decades, few compare to the novelty of the Walt Disney Worlds Railroad. Taking guests on a round trip across Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad is certainly one of the resort’s most iconic rides, as well as one of its most useful

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom will notice that the ground floor of the Main Street U.S.A. railroad station is temporarily closed as it undergoes refurbishment. However, one staircase remains open, allowing guests to still take in breathtaking views of Main Street.
This is hardly the only construction project currently taking place in Walt Disney World, with the entire resort facing one of its most exciting and transformational periods yet.
This week, Disney closed half of DinoLand U.S.A. at its Animal Kingdom theme park. The land has been part of the park since it opened in 1998, but is now being renovated into a new area inspired by some of Disney’s most famous franchises and brands, such as Indiana Jones and Encanto.
Part of the overhaul project has already begun, with Disney set to close the remaining half of DinoLand at a later date.
Big changes will soon take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well. The company announced last year that both Muppet*Vision 3D and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster would also be closing to make way for new attractions.
Magic Kingdom is also set to undergo a significant overhaul in the near future, with Disney revealing last year its bold and ambitious new vision for the park’s Frontierland area. This land will eventually be home to new attractions inspired by Pixar’s Cars franchise, a decision that has proven to be both exciting and controversial.
