Are you ready to embark on an epic adventure with Mickey Mouse and Friends? The wait is finally over, and fans can join in on the fun. The release of Disney’s newest video comes out July 28, 2023, allowing fans to get in on the action with Mickey and his crew.
Disney’s Illusion Island is a Nintendo game where Mickey Mouse and Friends are tasked with saving the world. Fans can play with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy in the game, which allows up to four players. The offering through Disney Games is a part of the celebration of Mickey Mouse and his gang, “Celebrating the Wonder of Disney’s Mickey & Friends.”

Disney Illusion Story
What makes Disney Illusion unique is the 2D co-op experience fans get when playing this soon-to-be-released game. The video game is available for Nintendo Switch specifically, allowing it to be a single-player game as well. “Unlike similar games, the game will be a side-scrolling co-op that doesn’t focus on combat to get characters ahead.” as detailed by Inside the Magic.
Players can expect to explore the mysterious island of Monoth with their chosen character. Additionally, they are on a journey to recover three mystical books to save the world. Players can choose their favorite character to begin playing. Each character has unique abilities as you move through the game. Characters must perform high-flying platforming feats, solve fun puzzles, and take on epic boss battles.

As Mickey Mouse and Friends reveal the mysteries of Illusion Island, their characters will make their way through the island to discover rich biomes and hidden secrets. Characters can run, swim, swing, and jump their way to the end. Fans can play as a single player or up to four. If playing with others, unlock the potential group activities like Rope Drop, Leap Frog, and a heart-gifting hug.
