Hoping to see more of Encanto (2021) at Walt Disney World? You are not alone!
The hit Disney animated film that went viral on social media for its characters and the addictive soundtrack has been slowly making its way into Disney theme parks, but so far, most of the excitement has focused on Disneyland. At Walt Disney World, Guests have been able to spot Mirabel Madrigal in one of the Magic Kingdom’s character cavalcades, and new costumes from the film have been added to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but other Encanto experiences have been limited so far on the East Coast.

Later this year, a new Encanto experience will make its debut at Walt Disney World, though, all thanks to runDisney! According to the official runDisney blog, the film will be featured (among others) that fit the theme of this year’s Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. runDisney notes:
When you run the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon at Walt Disney World Resort, or in any destination of your choosing as a virtual participant, you’ll be cheered on by none other than Mirabel and the family Madrigal!
Participants are invited to pull up a chair at the family table and join the family Madrigal on a journey to discover what else they can do when they push through the surface pressure! What better way to celebrate an accomplishment, like crossing that coveted finish line, than with good food and good company?
