The Magic Kingdom is currently preparing for the official opening of the newest attraction to debut at the Walt Disney World Resort, TRON Lightcycle / Run. And while Tomorrowland is understandably getting most of the attention right now, Fantasyland is home to one beloved Disney attraction that is finally open for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

In New Fantasyland, Enchanted Tales With Belle has remained closed throughout the reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort that began in July 2020. The interactive show remained closed for several months before the space itself reopened as a character meet and greet location with the performance and any interactive elements removed due to health and safety restrictions that were in place at the time.
When character meet and greets returned to “normal” and Guests were first able to meet favorite characters indoors, and up close for photos and autographs, meeting the iconic princess from Beauty and the Beast (1991) inside Enchanted Tales With Belle was a welcome experience.

Enchanted Tales With Belle, the full attraction, made its official return to the Magic Kingdom yesterday, February 19, 2023. The attraction, which allows Guests to become part of the show in retelling the story of Beauty and the Beast to Belle, features a character experience along with interactive story elements and one of the best special effects in the Park with the pre-show’s magic mirror.
As you plan your next trip to the Magic Kingdom, note that Enchanted Tales With Belle may close earlier than the rest of the Park. (Tonight for instance, the Magic Kingdom closes at 10:00 p.m. but Enchanted Tales With Belle closes one hour earlier at 9:00 p.m.)

A Tale as Old as Time
Step into Belle and Maurice’s quaint country cottage and marvel at the charming decor. Next, tour Maurice’s workshop, where you’ll see his inventive gadgets—and a special enchanted mirror the Beast gave to Belle. Say the magic words and the mirror comes to life!Watch the story of how Belle and the Beast met, and then behold the walls disappear before your eyes as you are magically transported to the Beast’s castle.
Meet the Enchanted Wardrobe, who will help selected participants prepare for their role. Which of you will play the Beast? Guests of all ages may volunteer!
