A disappointed Walt Disney World Resort guest reports that a popular EPCOT tour, DiveQuest, isn’t available starting mid-October. The Disney Park guest sought advice on social media, hoping that the beloved add-on wasn’t permanently ceasing operations.

EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest is unlike any other experience at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney cast members take guests on a backstage tour of The Seas aquarium, located in EPCOT’s World Nature pavilion, culminating in a 40-minute SCUBA dive in the 5.7 million-gallon saltwater aquarium. The massive tank is home to over 2,000 sea creatures including sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks!

Redditor u/Mart2d2 excitedly planned to book EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest for their Walt Disney World Resort trip next month. Even though most tours are available to book 60 days in advance, the devastated Disney Parks fan found that no tour times were available after October 20, 2024.

“There are plenty of reservations available up Oct 19, and then from Oct 20, I can’t book it,” the Disney Resort guest wrote.

Some Disney Parks fans suggested that this EPCOT Seas adventure might not accept reservations until 30 days in advance.

“That’s what I thought too, but Oct 20 is 50 days away and I’ve been checking daily and it appears stuck at Oct 19 for a week now…,” the guest replied. “Weird.”

Walt Disney World Resort occasionally suspends or cancels tours due to maintenance or declining guest demand. Since DiveQuest is so popular, this hopefully won’t be the case!

The $229 tour is available only to SCUBA-certified guests, but other EPCOT experiences like Dolphins in Depth and EPCOT Seas Aqua Tour (currently unavailable) are more beginner-friendly.
