EPCOT International Festival of the Arts: the Performing Arts

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has started, and it will run daily until February 21. Festival of the Arts is the newest festival at the Theme Park, and it is one that many Disney fans have not yet experienced.

There are three forms of the arts that are included with Festival of the Arts. They are culinary, visual, and performance.

In 2021 the entertainment was cut back so that crowds would not gather. That meant that the popular Disney on Broadway Concert Series did not run. This year, it is back!

With Disney on Broadway, two Broadway stars perform some of your favorite Disney classics. If youll be at EPCOT on February 21, you can catch a special performance with four of the stars!

The Disney on Broadway Concert Series runs three times each evening. You can watch it at 5:30, 6:45, or 8:00, weather permitting.

Visual Art in Performance is a must-see show. Its a high energy presentation where a blank canvas will transform into a favorite Disney character right before your eyes! Check your festival passport for days and times.

Art Defying Gravity is a physical performance of strength, balance, and concentration. You will wonder how they do it!

Animation Academy will let you become part of the performance. You will learn to draw a popular Disney character from an actual animator! This takes place in the America Gardens Theater.

The regular entertainment that EPCOT is known for continues throughout Festival of the Arts. You will still find Sergio, the JAMMitors, Matsuriza, and your other favorites. You will find the schedules in the My Disney Experience App.

The perfect performance to end your day at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts with is Harmonious. The show combines music and animation in new and creative ways. The fireworks add to the experience.
