Disney and fans alike are gearing up for the fall season. With fall comes the transformation of the Parks into an autumn foliage wonderland. Along with decorations comes Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World. The one-of-a-kind Halloween Party brings characters dressed up in costumes, limited-time bites, new entertainment, and spooky delights.
With the fall season just around the corner, so is decorating for the festivities. Disney begins transforming the Parks for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to begin on select nights starting on August 11. Now, Disney is selling decorations to transform your home into a spooky Halloween land all of its own. But as we know, anything Mickey-shaped is always sought after, making this one decoration sell out quickly.

Mickey Light-Up Pumpkin
shopDisney released the Mickey Light-Up Pumpkin that reportedly sold out in under fifteen minutes on August 4, 2023. The first sale began at 11 a.m. and was soon out of stock. Now Disney is releasing the massive pumpkin yet again. Tomorrow August 7, at 11 a.m., Guests can purchase the pumpkin on shopDisney. The Mickey-shaped pumpkin illuminates making it the perfect indoor or outdoor decoration for your home. The friendly face is a staple for every holiday, so it’s no surprise it sold out so quickly the first time around.

While Guests clearly love the pumpkin, they have taken to the comments section to express their thoughts on the initial sold-out sale. shopDisney took to Instagram, writing, “Haunt your halls with some EAR-ie ambiance from our Mickey Light-up Pumpkin. Don’t fret if you haven’t gotten yours yet; more large and small styles will be coming August 7 at 8 a.m. PT.”
One fan commented, “You guys should really just have an option to preorder.” Kristin from the shopDisney team kindly responded, “We greatly appreciate the feedback and will share your comments with the appropriate department for review. Have a Fabulously Freaky Friday!”
It is worth noting that Disney seems to listen to Guests thoughts and complaints, as we see the change in the dining reservation system. Hopefully, all fans can get their Mickey Light-Up Pumpkin in time for the holiday season, and if not, hopefully, another sale will take place.
