Are you planning on spending Christmas at Walt Disney World? The holidays are such a magical time at the Parks and Resorts. The weather is so much nicer than it is in most of the country.

Schools are off for the holiday, and many people are also able to get that time off from work. It is a perfect time for many to plan their dream vacation and spend time with family and friends.

If you have not grabbed a reservation for Christmas Day at Walt Disney World, you need to do that as soon as possible. Reservations for Magic Kingdom are already full, but you still have the opportunity to grab a spot for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT. There is also the possibility of Park Hopping after 2 p.m. to Magic Kingdom, but it is not guaranteed.

Last year the holidays looked very different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so many people want to go all out this year. There are still different safety protocols in place, so make sure to do your part to protect yourself and others around you. Face coverings are still required indoors and on Transportation at Walt Disney World.

If you are at Disney World during the holidays, make sure to take advantage of the extra decorations all around. Not only are you getting to see the holiday decorations, but you’ll get to see the extra additions for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Beacons of Magic light up all four Theme Parks and there are new attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. There are two new firework shows, Harmonious is at EPCOT, and Disney Enchantment lights up Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
