Grand Virtual Reveal for Disney Treasure Postponed

The grand virtual reveal of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship has been canceled. Due to the looming storm, Hurricane Idalia, Disney has decided to cancel and postpone the event. “Disney Cruise Line started back in 1998 with its first ship, the Disney Magic,” Inside the Magic reports. Disney Cruise Line has a fleet of ships, including Disney Wish, Disney Magic, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. The newest addition to the crew is Disney Treasure.

Initially, Disney had set a reveal date for tomorrow, Wednesday 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Guests and fans alike were eager to look forward to the release with new, exciting details about the ship. Due to inclement weather, Disney is taking precautions ahead of Hurricane Idalia. Walt Disney World has continuously updated Guests and Cast Members as their safety is the Resort’s priority. Now it comes that the grand event for Disney Treasure will be postponed.

“This video will debut never-before-released details about the Disney Treasure, showcasing the world-class dining, immersive family entertainment, and unique spaces coming to the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet,” Disney writes. While Guests may have to wait a little longer for the reveal, it will most certainly be worth it.

Disney Treasure Reveal Postponed

Due to the approaching hurricane, the grand virtual reveal of the Disney Treasure has been moved to Tuesday, September 5, at 11 a.m. ET. While we all eagerly and patiently await the new reveal date, there are still a few ways to embrace the wait and see some sneak peeks. Disney Parks Blog has released updates throughout the ship’s process, along with pictures and details.
