This Beloved Hollywood Studios Character Experience Finally Has a Return Date

Did you know some of the best character experiences at Walt Disney World can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? From seeing characters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, to Olaf, and even Sorcerer Mickey, this Park has something for everyone when it comes to shows and Disney character meet and greets.

This was even more true before the pandemic when Guests could also spot the Citizens of Hollywood and the Incredibles in this Disney Park, but hopefully, we’ll be able to get back there soon. In the meantime, we wanted to share one very exciting character experience that finally has a return date listed on Disney’s official website!

Earlier this year, Disney confirmed that several character meet and greets that had been paused since the start of the pandemic would soon be returning to the theme parks. As of this morning, at least one of those character experiences is now set to return as Disney’s official website lists times for the Green Army Drum Corps.

The schedule notes that the iconic group first seen in the original Toy Story (1995) will return to Andy’s backyard beginning on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Once the group is back in Toy Story Land, Guests can expect to see their sets hourly from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

In the past, Toy Story Land has also featured character meet and greets with Woody, Bo Peep, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear, however, so far no date has been announced for if or when these experiences will return.

Disney’s official description of the Green Army Drum Corps reads:

Throughout the day, be on the lookout for the Green Army Drum Corps in Toy Story Land! This talented band of drummers is sure to entertain Guests of all ages with their high-energy performances and awe-inspiring drum sequences.

As always, be sure to check the My Disney Experience app during your Walt Disney World vacation to note character meet and greet, and show, schedules around the theme parks. We will continue to monitor new and returning character experiences at Walt Disney World, and will be back with another update as we have it here on Disney Tips.
