Disney California Adventure (DCA) guests were met with an unexpected disruption on March 27 as a third “pooping incident” occurred in the line at Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!, prompting a temporary closure of part of the attraction’s queue.

According to an internal report shared by a Disneyland cast member, the incident took place during peak hours and led to the closure of a section of the line where the unfortunate event took place. One cast member reported:

“THERE HAS BEEN A 3RD POOPING INCIDENT AT GUARDIANS TODAY‼️
I’m a cast member at DCA and one of my friends who works at guardians has reported a 3rd pooping incident in line at guardians and they have closed a portion of the line where it occurred and can be smelt

This marks the second time in one day and the third time in a month that Disney guests have experienced a similar disruption, and while the cause of the incidents remains unclear, the unusual frequency has raised eyebrows among park staff. The Guardians attraction, a fan-favorite at DCA, is known for its long wait times, and a series of interruptions has led to some inconvenience for guests hoping to experience the ride.

Temporary Adjustments to Operations

In response to the incidents, Disneyland has temporarily restricted access to a section of the queue where the smell was reported to be most noticeable. While the ride itself remains open, the affected area has been closed off for cleaning. Guests are being directed to other parts of the queue, and cast members are doing their best to manage the situation with minimal impact on guest experiences.

No official statement has been released by Disneyland at this time, but the park has assured visitors that operations will return to normal once the area is sanitized.

Rising Concerns Among Guests and Cast Members

This recent string of incidents, which occurred in such a short time frame, has sparked conversation among Disneyland regulars and park visitors. For many, the idea of having to navigate a queue with lingering smells is far from an ideal experience. While incidents of this nature are rare, the timing of these occurrences has raised questions about the overall cleanliness of the ride’s queue areas.

Guests who were waiting in line for the attraction have voiced their frustrations on social media, with some commenting on the unexpected smell and the disruption caused by the temporary closure. Others are worried that this could be in connection to the DAS accessibility changes implemented last year.

While the ongoing incidents are certainly causing inconvenience for visitors, Disneyland’s operations team is accustomed to handling unpredictable situations. The park has yet to announce any long-term solutions, but it is likely that additional measures will be put in place to ensure a more pleasant experience for future visitors to the Guardians queue.

  1. After reading these pooping incidences I have identified that I would not receive a DAS pass for my chronic IBS. I was considering trying to travel 3000 miles in Hope. I am not going to be embarrassed and trigger my condition with worry. 30 years of Disney and £20,000 spent each years trip. I guess I will start cruising now. a sad goodbye to my happy place

Bottom Line is they don’t care anymore.
It’s money and greed with Disney any chance they get they pass it on to all the guests visiting.
It is getting too expensive for the average person visiting things that were free, Are things we are being charged for.
Pretty soon Disney will charge us for the air we breath in the parks.
      Charging more money for less!!
