According to Reuters, Hong Kong recorded 38 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday but only one with local community transmission. The rest of the people had returned to the city and tested positive during quarantine.

On December 31st, the community had a streak without community cases, but this ended now with the first local transmission to the Omicron variant.

We will let you know when we find out any more information about this, and hopefully, Hong Kong Disneyland will reopen on January 20th.

Here in the United States, we have COVID-19 numbers hitting record highs, but the Parks remain open. Face coverings are required indoors and on all transportation at both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.

Everyone can do their part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep yourself, other Guests, and Cast Members safe. We are all in this together. You need to decide for yourself if this is the right time to visit a Disney Park or if you should wait.
