With festivities planned across all four theme parks and two water parks, Disney is ensuring guests enjoy a memorable Independence Day visit. Magic Kingdom will once again present the fan-favorite Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky on both July 3 and July 4. In addition to the nighttime spectacular, guests at Magic Kingdom can look forward to DJ dance parties lighting up Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and the hub area near Cinderella Castle.

But the star-spangled excitement doesn’t stop there. Over at EPCOT, guests will be treated to a special performance of Heartbeat of Freedom immediately following the evening presentation of Luminous The Symphony of Us on July 4 only.

To accommodate larger crowds and enhance the patriotic atmosphere, Disney has also added extra showtimes for the Voices of Liberty inside The American Adventure Pavilion. As the official Walt Disney World Resort website describes:
“Step into the hallowed halls of The American Adventure Pavilion for an inspiring vocal performance by the Voices of Liberty. Their melodies delight while the rotunda’s acoustically perfect dome amplifies and purifies their sound—you won’t believe your ears! Let your spirits soar during their 15-minute performance of timeless classics.”

Traditionally wrapping up by midafternoon, the group will extend their performance schedule on July 4 with special evening showtimes. Guests will have opportunities to see them throughout the day at 11:15 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m.

As the celebrations ramp up across the resort, Central Florida as a whole is expecting a major influx of travelers. According to a recent statement from Orlando International Airport, July 4 weekend traffic is tracking ahead of 2024’s numbers.

“A direct comparison of travel numbers from 2024 shows that July 4, 2025, travel will likely lead to another record year,” an official MCO press release explained.

“Overall, traffic is expected to increase nearly 2 percent with some 1.43 million passengers during the 9-day travel period, which starts on Sunday, June 29, ending on Monday, July 7,” it continued. “The busiest travel day is projected to be Sunday, July 6, when an estimated 175 thousand passengers will pass through MCO.”

Whether you’re planning to take in the fireworks at Magic Kingdom or harmonize with the Voices of Liberty at EPCOT, Walt Disney World is setting the stage for an unforgettable Fourth of July weekend.

About Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
