LEGO Drops New Set for Disney 100

Disney’s 100th anniversary is certainly something to celebrate. Disney has given us fans some of our favorite movies through their passion for storytelling. These great stories live through animation and our favorite, most iconic characters like Mickey Mouse.

To help celebrate Disney’s 100th year, they have partnered with LEGO to celebrate 100 years of wonder. LEGO has released sets of classic characters and film stars, to bring the Disney magic into the homes of thousands.

Did you know that 25 years ago is when Disney and LEGO partnered? Furthermore, LEGO stated, “Our first set starred Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore. It’s fair to say our collaboration has expanded a little since 1999.”

Peter Pan & Wendy’s Flight over London

LEGO’s newest set has been released for pre-sale on their website. Disney and LEGO fans alike, can now pre-order “Peter Pan & Wendy’s Flight over London”. Fans can expect shipment beginning September 1, 2023. This 466-piece set is for ages 10 and up, detailing the iconic flying scene from ‘Peter Pan’ (1953).

The Peter Pan & Wendy set will include the iconic characters, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Wendy, and Nana. With this “creativity in a box” the excursions are endless and so is the inspiration. Along with other classic sets, LEGO offers fans the opportunity to own their favorite princesses and other characters. Disney and LEGO have created a line including Vilians, Pixar films, and even replicas of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. Check out these sets from some of our favorite films like ‘UP’ (2009), ‘Haunted Mansion’ (2003), and ‘Beauty and The Beast’ (1991), all shared on Shop Disney.
