Annual Pass Sales Have Resumed for These Disney Parks

Purchasing a new Annual Pass for Disney Parks has been a challenging task since the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort reopened during the pandemic.

While sales of new Annual Passes have remained paused for Guests planning to frequent Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort has opened up its Magic Key queue a couple of times, only for passes to quickly sell out, and sales to be paused once again.

For Guests planning multiple trips to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, we have exciting news to share as sales of new Magic Key passes are (finally) back on! Not every pass is available at this time, and there is no saying how long the passes that are available will last, but a queue to purchase passes is now live on Disneyland’s official website.

Once entering the queue to purchase a new pass, fans will be met with the following message:

Please note that, due to high demand, Magic Key pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Magic Key pass.

Note: New pass sales will be paused each night at 10:00 PM Pacific Time. Guests will remain in the queue overnight, as long as they remain connected to the network and keep their browser window open. Pass sales will resume no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time, the following day.

It is also important to note that Guests will have 10 minutes to enter the site and make their purchase once they are through with their time waiting in the queue, and that entering the site does not guarantee that a pass will be available to purchase once you get to the final screen.

New passes are available online only, so you will need to wait in the queue (which at the time of this writing is “more than an hour ” to purchase a new Magic Key.

The Disneyland Resort also has several options for purchasing Magic Key passes, but not all of them are available for new sales at this time. The Enchant Key, is currently available for renewals only, while Guests waiting in the queue will be able to purchase the Imagine Key, Believe Key, and the Inspire Key.

As for fans hoping for Annual Passes for the Walt Disney World Resort- It seems we’ll need to keep waiting for now. Sales of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes are expected to resume this year (at increased prices), but we have not received confirmation on when they will once again be available to purchase.
