Visiting Magic Kingdom Park soon? After multiple guest complaints, something has shifted in Fantasyland–but if you blink, you might miss it!

Beginning in 2012, Walt Disney World Resort introduced Magic Kingdom Park guests to New Fantasyland, an overhauled version of the classic Disney Park land featuring two areas: the Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus. The Enchanted Forest features several attractions, including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, and restaurants like Be Our Guest and Gaston’s Tavern.

Storybook Circus includes Dumbo The Flying Elephant, The Barnstormer, the Fantasyland Station of the Walt Disney World Railroad, the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, the Big Top Souvenirs store, and Pete’s Silly Sideshow, the home of four Disney character meet-and-greets. Magic Kingdom Park guests can wait in one of two lines to meet Goofy and Donald Duck or Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse, dressed in circus-themed attire.

A decade later, these character meet-and-greets are among the most popular at Magic Kingdom Park. They don’t offer Lightning Lane access, so guests are forced to wait in standby lines if they want to pose for photos with their favorite Disney characters. However, according to several reports, Walt Disney World Resort partially neglected the meet-and-greet location…until now.

Back in April, WDWNT reported that the character banners outside Pete’s Silly Sideshow were sun-faded, and guests could barely make out the artistic depictions of Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy. It took several months, but on Monday, the outlet confirmed that Walt Disney World Resort had replaced the Storybook Circus banners at Magic Kingdom Park.

The new banners feature the same design as the old ones, with depictions of the Disney characters in their Storybook Circus personas: the Astounding Donaldo, the Great Goofini, Madame Daisy Fortuna, and Minnie Magnifique. Obviously, they’re much brighter and more colorful than their sun-faded counterparts.

The Pete’s Silly Sideshow characters meet Magic Kingdom Park guests from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily. Check the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience app for the latest entertainment schedules.
