Things are always changing at the Disney theme parks. From new rides and attractions to entire lands, it seems like there’s always something new for guests to explore. Widespread upgrades are currently happening across all of Disney’s theme park resorts, both domestic and international, with Disneyland Paris specifically receiving some hefty renovations.
Over the last several months, work has continued to upgrade the security around the resort, specifically at the hall between Disney Hotel New York—The Art of Marvel and Disney Village, two of the numerous hotels featured at Disneyland Paris.
A new update comes via DisneyphileLIVE on Twitter/X, showing the multiple machines and pieces of equipment scattered across the construction site.

It’s unclear when exactly this project will be completed, but it’s safe to say Disneyland Paris will soon feel like a totally new destination. Last year, Disney confirmed its European theme park resort will be receiving several key upgrades, notably a new log flume ride inspired by The Lion King. Disneyland Paris will also get a new expansion named World of Frozen, which will transport guests to Arendelle, similar to what has recently opened at Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland.
The Disneyland Paris Resort opened in 1992 and still serves as Europe’s only Disney theme park. Filled with classic Disney rides and attractions, Disneyland Paris has made a name for itself thanks to its small but impressive collection of unique experiences, like Hyperspace Mountain, a play on Space Mountain, and Phantom Manor, the resort’s take on the Haunted Mansion.
Perhaps Disneyland Paris’ best feature is its castle, which is an imaginative interpretation of the original Sleeping Beauty Castle. While guests can see this castle in Anaheim, California, Disneyland Paris’ castle is unlike any other, using the gorgeous green terrain that surrounds it to its advantage. The castle is also unique in the fact that it features an attraction underneath, La Tanière du Dragon, where guests can come face to face with a terrifying, fire-breathing dragon animatronic.
Disneyland Paris is home to two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios. Work is happening inside both locations, with Walt Disney Studios set to receive the most significant upgrades. On top of new rides and attractions, Disneyland Paris announced last year that Walt Disney Studios would be getting a new name, one that would better fit the direction the park is headed in.
Once everything is all wrapped up, Walt Disney Studios Park will be known as Disney Adventure World, a decision that has proven to be somewhat controversial among fans.
