Marvel Signals 3 Shocking Hero Fatalities in New Doctor Doom Comic-Con Reveal
Marvel Studios is giving fans another reason to worry about the future of their favorite superheroes, and the latest reveal surrounding Doctor Doom suggests that some familiar faces may already be in serious trouble.
With Avengers: Doomsday (2026) approaching, Marvel has continued building anticipation around Robert Downey Jr.’s mysterious new villain.
However, a recent Comic-Con reveal has raised some disturbing questions about what Doom has already accomplished before the Avengers even confront him.
Several recognizable objects connected to powerful Marvel characters have appeared in his possession, potentially revealing a deadly history that audiences haven’t witnessed.
And three superheroes, in particular, could have already met their ends.
Marvel’s New Doctor Doom Reveal Raises Serious Questions
During October’s New York Comic-Con, Marvel Studios brought Doctor Doom’s intimidating trophy room to life through an interactive booth.
The display featured recognizable weapons, equipment, and artifacts associated with eight major Marvel heroes and villains.
While Marvel hasn’t confirmed that these characters are dead, the appearance of their belongings in Doom’s collection suggests he may have defeated alternate versions of them across the Multiverse.
Three discoveries are especially concerning, potentially pointing toward the deaths of some of Marvel’s most recognizable superheroes.

Thor May Have Already Met His Match
One of the most alarming objects in Doom’s collection is a fragment of Mjolnir, Thor’s legendary hammer, which was forged from the powerful metal known as Uru.
The damaged weapon suggests Doom may have previously confronted a Thor Variant and emerged victorious.
That’s particularly concerning considering one of the trailers showing Doom stopping Stormbreaker with ease.
If Doom has already defeated another God of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor could face an incredibly dangerous confrontation.
However, the fragment doesn’t necessarily mean its original owner died. It could simply represent an earlier battle that Doom won.
Cyclops’ Missing Visor Suggests Another Possible Casualty
Another troubling discovery involves Cyclops, the powerful X-Men leader played by James Marsden.
Doom’s collection includes the mutant’s distinctive visor, which Scott Summers uses to control his devastating optic blasts.
Unlike some of the other objects displayed, the visor doesn’t seem especially useful to Doom as a weapon.
Instead, it looks more like a trophy taken from a defeated enemy.
Interestingly, its appearance differs from the visor worn by Marsden’s Cyclops in the Doomsday trailer.
That difference raises the possibility that Doom has already defeated another version of the mutant.
If that’s the case, the upcoming film might not represent Doom’s first encounter with the X-Men.

Silver Surfer’s Damaged Board Raises Deadly Possibilities
Perhaps the most concerning discovery involves Silver Surfer.
Doom’s collection contains a damaged silver surfboard, potentially connecting the villain to Shalla-Bal, portrayed by Julia Garner in The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025).
Shalla-Bal appeared to sacrifice herself while confronting Galactus, although the film left room for questions about her ultimate fate.
Because Doom is connected to Earth-828, the same universe introduced in the Fantastic Four movie, the board raises questions about whether Shalla-Bal survived.
If Doom acquired the board after defeating her, Marvel may have already eliminated another powerful superhero.
However, the artifact doesn’t confirm her death, and it could belong to an entirely different Silver Surfer Variant.
That possibility also leaves the door open for Norrin Radd to take up the Silver Surfer mantle eventually.
Doctor Doom’s Collection Suggests Several Villains Have Fallen
A Venom-related artifact raises questions about whether Doom somehow acquired a symbiote connected to the events of Venom: The Last Dance (2024).
The collection also includes the Ultimate Nullifier, a devastating weapon associated with Galactus capable of erasing entire realities.
Meanwhile, Ultron’s decapitated head suggests Doom may have destroyed a version of the murderous robot.
However, Thanos’ helmet might be the most intimidating discovery.
In Marvel’s Secret Wars (2015) comics, Doom brutally kills Thanos by ripping his skeleton from his body.
With Avengers: Secret Wars (2027) approaching, fans are wondering whether Marvel will recreate that moment.
Although the helmet doesn’t confirm Thanos’ death, it suggests Doom may have already defeated a version of the Mad Titan.

A Mysterious Poster Raises Another Major Question
There’s another intriguing possibility surrounding Doom’s plans.
Previous rumors suggested Avengers: Doomsday (2026) might feature multiple versions of Victor von Doom, potentially including female Variants.
Those reports remain unconfirmed, and the rumored characters could instead be connected to Doom’s mysterious Latverian Witches.
However, a new poster circulating online has attracted attention because one of the witches appears strikingly similar to Wanda Maximoff.
That resemblance is particularly interesting considering Wanda’s uncertain future following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).
Although the film appeared to show her death, questions surrounding her potential return have continued.
The poster’s authenticity and the mysterious character’s identity remain unverified, meaning there’s currently no confirmation that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will return.
Still, the possibility adds another layer of intrigue to Doom’s growing Multiversal storyline.

Marvel’s Heroes Could Face Their Deadliest Enemy Yet
Marvel’s Comic-Con display may be creative storytelling rather than definitive evidence of events that will appear onscreen.
Nevertheless, the damaged Mjolnir, Cyclops visor, and Silver Surfer board create three unsettling possibilities involving beloved superheroes.
Combined with trophies associated with Ultron, Thanos, and other powerful characters, the collection paints Doctor Doom as an exceptionally dangerous opponent.
Whether those three heroes actually died remains unanswered, but Marvel has certainly given fans reason to fear what happens when Doom finally faces the Avengers.
