Tickets for This Walt Disney World Event Are Nearly Sold Out

As the world’s most-visited tourist destination, crowds can always be expected at Walt Disney World along with special events and activities selling out well before they take place. Pent-up demand from closures earlier in the pandemic, combined with more experiences returning to Disney Parks have also contributed to increased crowds around Walt Disney World.

Recently though, as most children return to school and summer comes to an end, Disney Parks have actually seem far lower crowds than at any point since the Resort reopened in July 2020. Still, there is one ticket that has already entirely sold out for the remainder of this month.

For the first time since 2019, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has returned to the Magic Kingdom. The seasonal after-hours event includes Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, trick-or-treating around the Magic Kingdom, exclusive snacks, merchandise, photos ops, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and more.

And, for the first time, well, ever, Disney has sold out of tickets for the entire month of September as of this morning, September 2, 2022. In previous years, tickets have sold out for the first party along with Halloween night and other nearby dates (especially if they fell on a weekend) but have largely remained available for most other dates. There have even been instances where Guests could purchase tickets for the evening’s event in person while visiting the Magic Kingdom.

As of this writing, only eight nights in October have tickets remaining for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, with the rest of the month, including Halloween, also sold out.

If you are planning on attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will definitely want to purchase your tickets asap as 2022 could be the first year where every single party date sells out at the rate things are going.

This is an important consideration to note even if you are not attending this year’s Halloween festivities, though. The rapid rate in which tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have sold out has us thinking about other upcoming seasonal events at Walt Disney World like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
