Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to Perform Twice a Day During Christmas Week

The holidays have been in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort since Halloween passed. It seems as if the entire Park transformed as the clock struck midnight on November 1.

Jolly garlands, festive music, and special holiday treats line the streets of Magic Kingdom. But the most magical part of the holidays at Walt Disney World is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event taking place in Magic Kingdom. The event begins at 7 p.m. and lasts until the Disney Park closes at midnight.

During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Guests can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, experience attractions that have had holiday-themed overhauls (such as the Jingle Cruise), and watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

This parade is full of Disney characters dressed in their seasonal gay apparel. Not only that, but the parade also features marching toy soldiers, dancing reindeer, gingerbread men, and even Santa Claus himself as he rides atop his sleigh.

This special event, which runs from November 8 to December 22, has finally sold out, meaning that Guests can no longer purchase tickets. However, Guests can still watch this dazzling parade.

Walt Disney World’s official website confirms that from December 23 through 31, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will occur at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Although the special event will have ended by then, visiting Guests will still be able to watch the iconic holiday parade!
