“It’s likely time to say goodbye to today’s Disney if you want to protect your children from the grooming tactics of the left.” –Concerned Mother, Kristan Hawkins

As Disney fans continue to absorb and react to The Walt Disney Company’s apparent commitment to its LGBTQ+ agenda, one mother’s decision to take her and her children away from the magic kingdom is spreading across the internet.

In an OpEd shared on Fox News, the mother wrote, in part:

“For those who loved the magic of Disney as children and have seen the wonder in our children’s eyes Disneyworld, it’s disconcerting to see the company that animated our childhoods, and now our children’s childhood, slowly become more progressive…

…Gone are the innocent days of ‘bibbity-bobbity-boo;’ Disney has now transformed into a political propaganda machine that grooms children for abortions and sexual promiscuity—and nothing showcases their regression into a progressive pumpkin better than their new movie…

Disney clearly is no longer interested in being a guardian of the innocence of childhood. Instead, by their own admission, Disney leadership is actively pushing children out of Neverland and directly into an adult’s sexualized world, where they can be groomed for others enjoyment.”

The mother first called Disney out for promoting sexual promiscuity in the latest Pixar film Turning Red by positively showing girls catcalling guys, the protagonist creating “dirty drawings” and even dropping an “abortion lobby” via the “my panda my choice” line. Then moved on to highlight what she sees as Disney’s further support of sexualizing little kids by taking staunch opposition to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Law led by CEO Bob Chapek. She sees the timing of both those two moves as more than just a coincidence.

This OpEd also comes after footage of Disney executives a the Reimagine Tomorrow meeting bragging about injecting a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” into new Walt Disney Television Animation productions was leaked and sparked massive outrage among parents and other fans–including in the comments of the Disney Fanatic Facebook page.

It is still unclear at this point how much of the words said by both Disney and its fanbase will turn into further action if that action brings about a positive or negative effect on the house that Walt built.

We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on all aspects of Disney news as more information comes to light.

  1. I feel this mother’s comments address issues that happened when Chapek was in charge and hasn’t done any reading to what Bob Iger has stated he is trying to undo. But hey why bother doing more research, just hold the company responsible for what things you don’t want to discuss with your children. It’s funny how her comments bring up how Disney raised her childhood, but for some reason looks over the fact that Disney has always had things in their movies that makes adults have those conversations. She must not have watched Bambi when she was a child, cause that movie alone made parents have to talk about death with their kids. I mean really we watch Bambi’s mom get shot on screen.

  2. Walt wouldn’t want this

Many of the things that have come out with these issues were started or created before Chapek. He was barely CEO long enough to be the cause. Having adult conversations like death are much different than catering an ideal is quite different. Children should be as innocent possible for as long as possible. Iger and those that have very openly stated these policies confirm this. I grew up coming to the parks and took my children until Covid hit. Don’t think we’ll be giving them our money until they at least come to center like Illumination has done and been more successful. How many flops do they need to have in a row to realize that people just want entertainment that is innocent and not pushing a narrative.
