Disney World’s Newest Discount Could Take 35% Off Your Next Resort Stay

Whether you are in the midst of planning your next Walt Disney World vacation, or just dreaming of a future trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” the most pressing issue at hand is likely how to stay within your budget. A Disney trip is not an inexpensive travel destination, and even if you feel comfortable with the splurge, it never hurts to get a good deal that can help you make the most of your next vacation.

While Guests have very few discount options when it comes to purchasing Disney Park tickets, one element of a trip that could save you hundreds or even thousands can come down to where you decide to stay. Off-property hotels are often much more affordable than Disney Resorts, but they are located further from the theme parks, and may require you to spend more cash on renting a car to get around.

As far as Disney Resorts go, the company offers multiple tiers of accommodations to help you view options that would fit your budget (Value, Moderate, Deluxe.) Still, Disney’s least expensive Value Resort is going to cost you more than those off-property alternatives. And that’s where discounts like Disney’s latest special offer could come into play to save your trip.

Disney releases several discounts throughout the year to help Guests save, either in the form of packages or room-only discounts (or with the Disney Dining Plan in years past, though the plan has yet to return.) The latest room-only savings offers a discount of up to 35%, depending on the Resort, for eligible Guests; in this case, Disney Visa Cardholders. Here’s what you need to know before you book your next trip.

The Disney Visa Cardmember discount adds special savings to select Resorts on top of discounts available to all Guests. The discount is valid for stays most nights May 14-June 24, 2023, July 5-August 19, 2023, and August 27-September 7, 2023.

To take advantage of this offer, Guests must use their Disney Visa card while booking on Disney’s official website or through an authorized Disney vacation planner. Disney continues to add new discounts throughout the year, and additional savings may be available if you are an Annual Passholder, Disney Vacation Club member, or Florida Resident.
