Without artists, we simply would not have Disney. Artists are responsible for the creation of the characters, the Parks, the films, and everything in between. From Imagineers to Animators, Disney has always been a supporter of the artist community and has encouraged expression and emotion.
Disney Springs announced recently that in honor of the artist community and in an effort to keep encouraging creativity and visual story-telling, a brand new ‘Art Walk’ is being installed in the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs District.

From the Disney Parks Blog post, we have gathered that the art walk will be a continuously growing mural painted by artists from around the world. The mural will be a mix of artistic expression, storytelling, and the spirit of diverse cultures.
Visitors to Walt Disney World will have the opportunity to see incredible art up close on this mural which will be located at Town Center of Disney Springs. The best part is, the Art Walk will continue to grow so every time you visit, it may look different! Disney will continue to bring in artists both from the US and across the world to paint and inspire.

Disney Parks also gave us a brief introduction to the artists and how the Art Walk is expected to evolve over time.
“Throughout the year, guests will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of different works of art as new pieces and artists are added to the Art Walk. The space will evolve over time as unique voices are continually introduced and welcomed to share their work. The first set of talented artists whose work will be showcased at the launch of the Disney Springs Art Walk include Laci Jordan, Chad Mize, Stacey Aoyama and Eric Tan. “
Right now we know it is due to launch this month, but we will update you once we have more specifics on this Disney Springs new addition.
