The Walt Disney Company is celebrating 100 years in business, and the anniversary commencement is still happening. Throughout the year, Guests have participated in the celebration at all the Parks at Disney World. With so many surprises and limited-time events, Disney is now making One Park the center of the fun.
EPCOT was an idea of Walt Disney’s with the hope that it would never truly be finished. The purpose is to constantly evolve and change over time to be the most innovative Park. Beginning in late September, Disney is ramping up the celebration at EPCOT with Disney100.

Disney100 Experiences at EPCOT
All four Parks and Disney Springs offer special photo ops with Disney100 backdrops. Now Guests can snap a photo with Mickey Mouse with the “new platinum Mickey Mouse sculpture in World Celebration with Spaceship Earth in the background,” as Disney Parks Blog writes. Additionally, as Guests walk through Worl Celebration, they can explore the new mural featuring 100 Disney characters. As you try to find your favorites in the incredible scene, the rest of World Celebration will be decorated in Disney100 decor.

Ready to meet the real Mickey? Guests can explore the meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie as they are decked out in their “platinum best” in Imagination! pavilion. Stick around EPCOT at night and experience “Spaceship Earth will light up each night with special colors and lights accompanied by the Disney100 anthem, a unique rendition of “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
Disney100 Dining at EPCOT
EPCOT will host two festivals featuring limited-time sips and bites throughout this event. Need I say more? EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off July 27 through November 18. To follow is EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, leaving you with no choice but to visit the Park during one of these one-of-a-kind festivals.
